Thousands Of .EU Websites Suspended Due To Brexit-Related Changes

Earlier this week, approximately 48,000.EU domains were deactivated because the British residents and businesses that owned them were no longer authorised to do so. The notification was made by EURid, the European Union's domain registrar administrator.

This action brings the current process regarding the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union on January 31, 2020 to a close.
